South Terrace Home / Sanders & King
Textual content description offered by the architects. Situated on an extended slim website in Clifton Hill, this challenge expands on an already grand Victorian terrace, responding to the slope of the positioning by incorporating a collection of light inner and exterior stage adjustments within the new extension.

The result’s a succession of spacious and light-filled dwelling areas at floor stage, and an enlargement of the prevailing darkish and damp subfloor areas to create a brand new giant rumpus room and have wine cellar.

Current areas within the authentic entrance a part of the home have been largely retained, refreshed by new inner finishes and lightweight fittings. A brand new beneficiant kitchen and eating on the rear are separated from a sunken lounge by a double-sided wooden fire and fireplace, whose white stacked brickwork supplies a strong visible anchor for the encompassing areas.

The palette of pale oak timbers and heat gray tiles and stone retains these south-facing areas vibrant, with distinction offered by pure walnut veneer joinery and black steel-framed home windows and doorways.
