Rashnan Villa Home / HAMAAN Studio
Textual content description supplied by the architects. When the consumer first approached us, the constructing stood as an unfinished construction nestled in a backyard close to city. The construction was a typical one, with a nine-squared geometry: a naive reinterpretation of conventional pavilions, devoid of architectural articulations and spatial particulars, but to be ornamented with some sheds and cliché ornamental parts.
Nevertheless, the consumer envisioned extra: not only a leisure trip villa however one that might function a house itself, not merely a short-term substitute for an city home. Additionally they wished the design to materialize their childhood recollections. The mission, to us, embodied a novel architectural self-creation expertise in a dialogical relationship with the consumer’s aspirations.
Our preliminary focus was coping with fixing pre-existing construction points and issues. The earlier two-story facade design had disrupted visible connections, each internally and externally. Our redesign sought to withdraw the separation line between the tales. The prevailing void within the ceiling prolonged downward, assuming the function of an “middleman house.” This middleman house is the important thing to finish spatial articulation and creates a spectrum between private and non-private areas, providing cohesion as a substitute of a decisive separation.
The design additionally thought-about a brand new entrance and a bridge-like circulation path across the first ground, advancing and refining the earlier deficiently detailed structural articulations. These articulations stability the circulate of life and improve the expertise of residing amidst mountains and bushes.
The constructing boasts a concrete construction and options underfloor heating through a packaged system for heating and break up items for cooling.
