Entrance Sq. for Hermes Workshop / palast
Textual content description supplied by the architects. This venture was born from a particular order: to reclassify the doorway of a constructing occupied by the Hermès workshops in Pantin.
Our intervention is a chance to redefine the standing of this underexploited city house by defining its limits.
We opted for a brick “moucharabieh” fence, thus permitting us to take care of the visible porosity from Rue Lesault whereas integrating the bicycle rooms and family waste of the constructing.
The brick continues on the facade of the doorway constructing with a play of molding and fittings in dialogue with the brand new entrance sq..
